4v4 Kickoff Tourny – aDvanced vs. EnVyUs

Hello, it’s NameLeSs back with the results of the 4v4 Kickoff LB round 4 of the 4v4 kickoff tournament on gamebattles.  If you read my previous post about the kickoff, you would have known that we haven’t lost a match since our first match in this tournament.  Monday aDvanced went on to play EnVyUs a very exciting team who placed 2nd in MLG Nationals ’08 and Nationals ’09.  aDvanced won 3-2!

It was one of the closest, most intense matches I’ve ever played.  The first map was Invasion Search and Destroy.  This was an extremely close map, the score of the map ended with 4-3 aDvanced winning.  The map count was 1-0 in what was soon to become a 5 game series.  We were leading 1-0 and we were confident coming into the next map.  EnVyUs came out guns blazing and won Sub Base demolition 2-0.  The series was tied 1-1.  Anything could happen.  The next map was Terminal CTF.  EnVy took that map also.  EnVyUs was up in the series 2-1.  We weren’t giving up just yet.  We came into Karachi Search and Destroy ready to kick some tail and came out with a 4-1 win.  The series was tied 2-2, all awaiting the last map, Invasion Demolition.  On Invasion we started out on defense, they planted both bombs quickly and won the first round.  We still didn’t give up.  On offense we won the 2nd side quickly. We ended up winning that 3rd side on offense as well, to knock out EnVyUs from the tournament.

aDvanced always comes with the right weapons, and we are always well prepared.  We are a threat to any team on this game, and people need to notice.  Thanks for reading everyone.  I will update this wednesday after our next match against EFX.  aDvanced!
